Nuthatch

Thank you Keith for allowing me to use your stunning photo of a Nuthatch as reference. I used Gouache paint on the back of 75lb Mi-Teintes pastel paper.

The ‘Allegory of Spring’ or ‘Primavera’ by Sandro Botticelli was the inspiration for my Spring’ image. I took the figure of Flora out of the painting and overlaid it onto a Dutch flower masterpiece which included spring tulips. Spring lambs complete the picture.

The Princess and the Pea

I have been working on this photo manipulation for a week.
I had several enquiries about an very similar image I made a few years ago. I realised that I had made it too small to do much with. The model I had used also no longer allowed usage of her image.
Tah! dah! Finished!

Frost

 I'm recycling here! This was my 2013 christmas card. I took the background photograph myself on Cannock Chase. we had an incredible hoar frost that day. The girl is a stock photo, Yale-stock on DeviantArt. I am looking forward to seeing what everyone else has been up to on Digital Whisper
